Finally, I have mustered the resolve to try. For the past six months, I have begun the tireless process of building an enterprise. It is wonderfully exciting, but it has not been without twists and turns.
Last week, after months of looking for a regular “nine-to-five,” I was finally offered a position at a law firm. I was proud that all my hard work and prayer was finally paying off, but I also found myself at a very important crossroads. You see, by that point, I had begun to experience the joy of entrepreneurship. I am able to make my own schedule, and no one gives me a cut of the proceeds after taking her own. So I had a decision to make. Would I take the job and go use my talents and skill set to help someone build their dynasty, or would I persevere through the very uncertain beginning to establish my own? I’m happy to say I chose the latter. I declined the offer and resolved to finish working my plan.
There is a degree of risk associated with change, but everything that refuses to change eventually dies. I refuse to live my life afraid. I have launched out into the deep and I challenge you to do the same. There is nothing between you and greatness except time and opportunity. Go ahead. . . .what are you waiting for? JUMP!
